AGM 2026 and 'Homes not Housing' event - 15-16 May in Melbourne, Victoria - UNDERWAY

EAROPH Australia's Annual General Meeting (AGM) and associated co-event this year are taking place in Melbourne, 15-16 May. Come and join us for our most important gathering of the year.

Friday 15 May - Homes not Housing? Rethinking the Roof Over Our Heads - an evening conversation

This year we are revisiting our 2024 AGM co-event theme on housing. But this time we are moving from housing solutions to having a dialogue about why we need to move from simply talking about housing to talking about the importance of homes, neighbourhoods and communities.

Join EAROPH Australia and for what promises to be a fascinating discussion on the meaning of finding a home, featuring keynote speaker Lucinda Hartley. As an Urban Futurist, one of Australia's 100 Most Influential Women, she is the mind behind Zeroo Home Loans, Neighbourlytics, and CoDesignStudio and the recent published author of the book Finding Home. In short, Lucinda is helping redefining how we choose and fund the places we live in.

EAROPH Australia - networking sessions: the future of urbanism (ongoing)

EAROPH Australia is continuing an engaging online format open to members, friends and allies to discuss the future of sustainable urbanism.

These will be a series of FREE 60min online 'informal' sessions as a way for professionals to foster connections, explore interesting ideas, even have a bit of fun - much like meeting after work at the pub.

These sessions will be designed to encourage conversation in a safe manner - using a cross between Open Space Technology and World Café concepts. In this first event, we are starting with the following as a 'given', and which you will be invited to explore  what this might mean for our urban environments:

We are in a liminal period. There are enormous challenges in terms of climate change, housing crisis, economic meltdown, increasing inequality, a shift from complicated to complex systems.

Please find below, the registration details to join our 3rd 2025 Networking Session - September 24 from 12:30pm- 1:30pm AEST

RSVP here (once registered you will be sent a Zoom meeting link - please check your spam folder if you haven't)

We look forward to catching up with all of you.
