2022 Annual General Meeting held in Launceston, Tasmania
For the first time, we took EAROPH Australia's Annual General Meeting to Tasmania, the first in-person EAROPH Australia meeting in two years. The 2022 EAROPH Australia Annual General Meeting was held in Launceston, Tasmania, on Saturday 9 April from 12 to 2pm (AEST). In addition to the AGM, a special event was held: 'Bite the Night' - the intersection of gastronomy and night-time economy in Launceston. Explore how gastronomy can ignite an evening economy.
The event celebrated Launceston's recent designation as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, and explored how gastronomy can ignite an evening economy and culture, and how this in turn, can help brand and shape place, particularly in Launceston and other regional cities in Tasmania, Australia and beyond.
