EAROPH Australia has an Asset Management Project team working with other EAROPH chapters in the region to develop a comprehensive framework and clear guidelines for the management of public assets.

EAROPH Australia provides training in "systemic asset management (SAM)". SAM links to overseas best practice models of Open Building and System Separation.

EAROPH Australia is a member of the Australian Asset Management Collaborating Group (AAMCoG).

In 2012, AAMCoG issued the "Guide to Integrated Strategic Asset Management".
